In the third quarter of 2024, the Middle East's Maps and Navigation app market saw varied performance among the leading apps on a unified platform. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, highlights trends in weekly downloads and active user counts, providing insights into app engagement.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a steady presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between approximately 55K and 64K. Active users started at 1.7M and showed a slight increase, peaking at 1.77M mid-September before settling back to 1.72M by the end of the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a consistent download pattern, with numbers ranging from 33K to 42K per week. Meanwhile, its active user base showed a decreasing trend, starting at 2.46M and ending the quarter at 2.27M.
